Decoration ideas please!
I'm putting a Christmas tree up this year, but Mum has had my tree the last couple of years and she's lost ALL of my decorations except for the lights. I don't want to spend much money or time really, but my Christmas tree can't go naked! Has anyone got any quick & cheap decoration ideas?

knit balls! better yet, get little styrofoam balls & wind yarn around them until you can't see the styrofoam anymore, whack an ornament hook on it & voila! OR do you have dollar trees there in NZ? if so, they usually have 6- or 12-packs of clear glass ornaments, into which you can put glitter, confetti, or yarn (do you see a theme here?). cranberry & popcorn garlands are classic & cheap, or you could go totally classy & JUST have lights.
We have alternating red and white bows tied on our tree - ribbon from the $2 shop.
Ok, so our tree is small and fake, but it would look great on a bigger tree too.
I was going to say: Yarn garland and construction paper stars trimmed in yarn. Or maybe small balls of yarn. Somehow I think yarn should play into this. Yarn.
